Poptart ... is it a virgin?
 

What does the word poptart mean? Is it a tart who enjoys being popped in the same sense a cherry is popped? In that case - can a cherry be popped only once, while a poptart can be popped several times.

Actually I am very serius about my question. English is my third language, and I would really like to understand this and many other enlgish words.

a "tart" is a slutty or easy young girl, and pop tart is just a variation on that term, from what i understand.

poptart is a brand of breakfast pastry.

it is often used as slang for a slutty looking teen or young girl.

Often 18 year old girls in the slutty catholic school girl uniforms will be called poptarts
