I'm building a Chopper!

Looking to have a chopper built from a company here in Tampa called the Wrench. Here's what I think I'm starting with. Drop down seat to keep it low and strech it out. Who's got Choppers? What do you think??

[illnet]-Romeo 02-13-2004 10:51 AM

Natural flames for sure. I'm also thinking of doing a single sided swing arm on the rear. Not too sure, there's so many tricked out bikes out there!

Oh... I thought you meant a helicopter haha

Stephen 02-13-2004 11:38 AM

I'm too old for a rigid - hmmmm. maybe wrong crowd for that statement... but as for "I'm also thinking of doing a single sided swing arm on the rear." - oh yeah, sexiness there, boy.

When it gets hard to find your bike in the paking lot, you know it's time to upgrade.

You can get the look of a rigid with air ride suspension....

it will have the look like a rigid when your not riding it ...when you are on it you can raise the rear fender off the frame ..with a nice air cusion..

all of his bikes have that

Manowar 02-13-2004 11:58 AM

I recently checked out Hot Match custom cycles, they also have some sweet rides

MadMoney-

There is a guy in NYC named Paul Cox, who works with Indian Larry. He has developed an air suspension for rigids called 'Rigid Air'. It is two small air bags that sit under the seat, with a compressor, switches and valves.
Indian Larry's recent bikes are all running it.

As for your bike, cool man, you should check out Amen choppers. As far as new school bikes go those guys rule.

I, personally, prefer the old school east coast bike, here is a pic of my last bike. I built it last summer.
My next project needs an 80 Flathead engine, so if anyone knows where to find one please let me know!

Do they make a chopper you can fit two people on?

I gotta have room for a girl to ride with me.

:thumbsup

:thumbsup

You can put that suction cup pad on the rear fender so the girl doesn't scratch the paint, then take it off when you're riddin solo

JFK 02-13-2004 12:34 PM

Love the look of some Choppers, but much prefer the ride of a Decker. With one of those you can cruise all day:thumbsup

That's some badass flames :thumbsup

[illnet]-Romeo 02-13-2004 12:50 PM

I will be assembiling the bike myself. I was talking about having the Frame built by the Wrench.

Ya the paint work is from a really good friend, Eric Warren. He does some great work. I was actually there when he airbrushed that skull, it almost lloks like a sticker but he did the entire thing free hand! The flames are called a natural flame which he's getting a lot better at. He's definatly doing all the paint work on mine when it's done!

JDog 02-13-2004 12:57 PM

Damn, those natural flames just look fucking bitchin
