.com vs .biz vs .info vs .us
 

question for you SE guys...

what are the downsides of registering a .biz, .info or .us domain?
will it affect my page rank, etc?

.biz .us and .info are cheaper if you're buying several hundred at a time. :Graucho

i'm inquring about the affect on search engine listings, not my wallet...

No affect, just look at the number of successful .biz/.info/.us spammers there are.

If I was google I'd turn the spam filter up a notch on domains with that tld though, at least in adult... who knows though. I don't have the kinds of scripts to do that kind of data mining, but they those tlds work fine for me.

the only difference i would think of is less type in traffic
