Personally I would. One great converting template is better than 100s good or average ones.

Is there any proof that it will be high converting? Nope, there is no way to know how good it will be at converting! That's the deal!

Why pay $1000 with out know if it will convert!

Believe me for $1K I will tweak that gallery until the cows come home...it will eventually convert in a way that is more than worth it;)

thing is i wouldnt have enough traffic to send it so it makes a fucking difference lol

i dont sell templates or have any tgp traffic at the moment, it's just a poll, but as I said I can see the value of a template that brings very high CTR. Conversions are a bit more complicated issue. Personaly the CTR alone would satisfy me.

Honestly I never understood the need of many tgp webmasters to get 100s templates for their sites that are not optimised at all.

You could make a living as a tgp webmaster just from a single gallery template. Am I wrong?
