Anyone ever had laser eye surgery?
I am thinking of getting it done in the next month or two. Any recommendations?

I'm thinking about it too. I've talked to some other webmasters who've had it done and say it's great, but there's also a big unknown risk in that you're searing the eyeball (from what I understand). Even though it's beneficial in the short term no one knows how that's going to affect your vision in, say, 20 years time.

I'm thinking of doing it. As I've understood, if you don't get perfect vision after the first "surgery" it's possible to just do it again (if they're using laser)..

I had it done over two years ago and my vision is great. You should have it done. It's worth it. They don't really do that much to your eye, they just reshape your eye lens to improve your vision. Besides in 20 years if something goes wrong, they will probably have a fix for it.

I wish I can get it Im a big coward

One of the best things I ever did. Great!

I had some feedback from people who had one, and they were pleased with the results

Does it hurt during the laser inscription?

We have several good doctors here in Las Vegas. My dad had it done about a year and a half ago, he was more than happy with the results. He had it done at the Lasik Eye Center on Lake Mead Blvd.
He didn't complain about any pain either, for those who are wondering. |
Some people I know had laser eye surgery and results were like perfect after I say go for it.

Definately do it. Had it done 2 years ago and never regretted it! I went from 20/220 to 20/20.

One of my best friends had it done, her eyesight was Terrible (!!!), and now she doesn't have to wear contacts or glasses and is extremely happy with her decision.

don't get the $499 special - ask around and get a doctor that people like...and i'd pay extra for the newer type of laser usually called 'waveform' or 'custom' laser....more accurate than before...and a bit more expensive...
|
I had Lasik done. My only complaint is dry eyes. You tend to loose some nerves that tell your tear ducts to produce lube. Not a big deal for me. I went from 20/400+ to 20/15 20/20.
