Monty Python's Holy Grail takes top spot
 

Monty Python and the Holy Grail has been voted the favourite British film of all time.

The film topped a poll of 7,000 people by Amazon.co.uk and the Internet Movie Database website.
The film kept Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange off the top spot.

Man there were so many unforgettable scenes..........I'll never forget the first time I saw it, when we first see her, the Old Crow Woman is beating the hell out of a cat against a pole, just flailing the thing and you can hear this........"wheeeeeeeaaarrrrrrr!!!!!!"

"Holy Grail" has some of the funniest scenes, but I much prefer Python's "Life of Brian" overall.
