Thughosting.com - scammers
Thughosting.com is a free host. Between others they host the pics for one Russian guy, who steals content from TGP/Free Sites. He puts markings on pictures like they belongs to russians-girls.com. I'm sure he steals them, because I cought him several times. Actually he said it himself (that he steals it from TGP).
Here is an example gallery: http://www.thughosting.com/www/rusgi...112;Alena;16;0 and one of the pics linked: http://www.thughosting.com/www/rusgi...12;Alena;16;14 The guy steals a lot of pics from different sites, but those are pics from one of the sets I did personally once. I did not license the pics to domain russians-girls. And I have a list of 57 more links with Thughosting.com where some of my pics are located that I consider used without a license. I wrote to the support of Thughosting.com sending them a complete list of urls and politelly asking them to remove the content and close the account of this user. This is what I got back: -------------------------------------------- We have received your communication regarding potentially infringing content. However, the notice neither met the statutory requirements of the DMCA, nor did it give us sufficient information regarding who you are and of what content was potentially infringing. Therefore, we cannot take action on your request at this time. Feel free to send us an additional notice that is more descriptive and in compliance with the DMCA. You may review the requirements for a DMCA Take Down notice at: http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/script...tle=17&sec=512 http://www.loc.gov/copyright/legislation/dmca.pdf ------------------------------------------------ Ain't this some shit? I must prove now that I have rights for this content???? May be I need also to bow down and spread my ass cheaks apart for easier for them to fuck me? I wrote them that actaully they MUST have a proofs they (or their user) legally own that content, not me. Where the model ID's and Releases and/or License issued by the producer/reseller? They seem to have ignored my reply. The galleries is still there. Again, I'm just sure the guy have stolen that content, because he actually never denied this. And I have already shut several his domains/accounts with other hostings. So I have a question for all of you here - who can I abuse that Thughosting.com to? I wrote to their upstream provider, but they did not even reply. Any lawyers here? Indeed I could order a small DDOS attack to this domain (I know where to find some guys who do this for money), and I'm sure I could just keep them down for weeks, but this is too much honour for some little asshole and to much expences for such a miserable shit. And I really do not want "to draw a rusty knife out" before I tried all legal measures. Any advise please? |
duno but looks like http://www.fastadulttraffic.com/ is the owner of that domain.
|
What makes you think so?
Any more opinions please? |
Bump.
I don't get it. No one knows what to do legally when someone host stolen content and refuse to remove it??? I really do not like to play dirty trics... |
The same is happening to us all the time and we are now getting a lawyer to help us. If anyone has any other advise, please let me know.

You're a content provider, I'm astounded that you're not understanding how this shit works. DMCA'ing people for copyright infringements fall into a similar category of coming to GFY and calling XYZ Cash shavers (i hope there's no xyz cash company if there is just using as example) without PROOF that people are shaving it's nothing more then a random accusation from someone they don't know and basically means *nothing* until some proof is given why should this instance be any different? if you HAVE the proof, then re-issue the DMCA WITH the proof needed (they basically gave you step by step instructions of how you should go about doing this) and the problem is solved |
Indeed I could order a small DDOS attack to this domain (I know where to find some guys who do this for money)
lmao how much |

You could not abuse people just for fun, because people who legally bought the content usually have some proofs of ownership - copies of model ID's and releases and/or license. And actually, when the content is sold non-exclusivelly it's the only way to determine if the content is legally used or not. If I sell it through brokers and non-exclusive resellers I might not have the list of all legal users. Anyway, they seem to have removed all the content finally, so I'm over with this. About DDOS price - this is not what I really want to promote to the masses. Actually I'm pity I let myself mention this at all here. |
If you are going to issue a C&D citing copyright infringement then you MUST comply with the outline instructions in the DMCA for requesting a host remove the content.
You are being a jerk here. Do what you are supposed to do and if they do not comply then you have a legal case against the host. Hell the time it took you to come in here, bitch, whine and moan could have been spent doing what you are legally required to do in this case. Quote:
