are they ok though? I find godaddy to be slightly dodgy and I doubt whether most of the sell below cost guys are really that good when it comes to problems and issues. Godaddy makes money when theres a problem like $80 to get a domain unfrozen because it had seperate whois info from you main account that you got it transferred to.

Enom is huge amongst the domain buyer crowd.

he paid 1.3 mil for men.com, im sure he can find somewhere for you that's a little more expensive

i use registerfly.com - $9.99

Hansm 02-11-2004 10:16 PM

Enom, Yeah right i have 2903 domains and still my price is 7.25 and i can make reseller accounts for 8.25 minium because enoms rules.

so if someone wants a enom account let me know it, i cant go lower than 8.25 because some new stupid rules 2 months ago.

Mutt 02-11-2004 10:23 PM

Directnic - can't beat their account management tools and they are on top of everything. Contact them if you have alot of business and I'm sure they will work out a good price for you.

If you want to stay at Enom, you might want to buy an old reseller account from someone so you can get the $6.95 renewals.

Talk to Fabulous.com too. They will give you a good deal if you have 2000+ domains. They have some good tools for bulk owners.

Yeh, they are excellent but you pay nearly twice the money. When you have lots of domains that gets ridiculously expensive.

I've never had a major problem with any of the 4 other registrars I use. Still have some with DirectNIC, but pruning down.

SomeCreep 02-11-2004 10:39 PM

I'd tell you a good registrar but its invite only.

mkx 02-11-2004 10:40 PM

I use DirectNIC. Sure your paying more but it's worth it. Has anyone ever had directnic freeze their domain for not having correct whois information? Any bad beef on directnic? I hope not

I like DirectNic, but for people with 1000's of domains, the price makes all the difference.

What if you have intentions of actually building websites for the domains instead of whoring them for a few years until some rich company buys them off you? Directnic is a really easy to use for building purposes

I said I like DirectNic.

I was just pointing out that even .50 a year starts to add up when you multiply it by thousands.

True, I looked into Enom but am not ready for the investment. Any one ever have problems with false whois info from directnic?

IPK 02-11-2004 11:11 PM

yeah i have 700+ domains at directnic, it's costly but their service is great

Thanks for the innovation, I thought my 100+ were to many to be paying $15 per year per domain

Alex Xe 02-12-2004 02:03 AM

I use onlinenic.com now, $6.39 per domain name now if you have more 100 domains.

mkx 02-12-2004 02:03 AM

How is their service and control panel?

Speaking of false, can a registrar take away your domain if you give them false info?
