Has anybody ever been paid back?
 

There have been many threads started over the last few years where people ask for donations for a worthy cause, and more often than not, that person says that they will pay back every penny once they get back on their feet. I am always amazed by the generosity that fellow webmasters show, but every time I see one of these threads, I find myself wondering how many webmasters are actually true to their word and DO pay back any of the money (either cash or by doing some work for the person who donated). So...
Have any of you who have donated money to a webmaster in need because of a post on GFY (or any other board) EVER been paid back?

(Note: This is in no way directed toward anybody specific. Just something I've been wondering for some time now.)

after seeing my freesites, I was paid back for the html lessons I took.

I know one guy here did couple hours to a guy that sent him money.

At least 90% of threads asking here for $$ are scams.

I know. That's the main reason I've never donated to them, because you just never know who honestly needs the help, and who's just looking for a free ride. And I know that most people who donate never expect to be paid back. I'm just curious if anybody keeps their promises. Apparently not.

Oops... I missed this one. It's good to see that there are some people here who do what they promise :thumbsup

too many damn scams, they get in the way of the real webmasters in need:(
