You looking for info on it or the pathc itself?

Go get the windows baseline security analyzer, run it, and it will output an html page with links to all the patches you need.

To disable the new default behavior in Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer, create iexplore.exe and explorer.exe DWORD values in one of the following registry keys and set their value data to 0.
For all users of the program, set the value in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_HTTP_USERNAME _PASSWORD_DISABLE

For the current user of the program only, set the value in the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_HTTP_USERNAME _PASSWORD_DISABLE

She asked how to fix it. I told her the answer, it takes about 2 seconds to do it by hand , and then you actually learn something about your computer.

Or you could just clickety click click and click the registy patch that does the exact same thing except it doesnt tell you how it works and doesnt explain how to UNDO it :) Its a good method if your lazy and stupid i suppose :)

Should this key already exist? My registry only seems to go as deep as
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

she? think again dumbass..:)

and also, most of the people here could care less HOW it works, they just want something that works

when someone asks for logos for a logo contest, do they require instructions on how the winner did the logo along with the file?
