Those things are great. Easy way to make great coffee. I have a bodum press at home and it works great. You don't need anything too fancy.
|
yes, they do make great coffee. agreed on the bodum brand too.
|
excellent stuff
juicyyyyyyyyyy coffee :) |
Ijust ordered it I like the fact you can pour hot steamy wwater to brew it. Mr Coffee doesnt give hot coffee
|
they do give you a warning when you get it not to pour too hot of water in there, it can burst the glass.
|
Wow, I love the hell out of some coffee... I should try it too!:thumbsup
|
Id go with the 3 cup model unless you drink alot fast. Keep in mind the coffee will continue to get stronger as it sits.
By the way pots are nice and all but it really is all about the beans, the way you store them, and of course your ability to use a grinder. |
you gotta know one thing bout them, these cafetieres are really cool to look at but the coffee they make is not anywhere near espresso or anything alike, it leaves a lot of coffee behind in the machine so basically youre drinking water and coffee theres no filtering, indonesian ppl drink it like that a lot of other countries too, they add hot water to a large cup filled with coffee stir and let it rest for a min then drink it.
its really really really bad for your blood pressure to drink coffee like that and im no health freak i drink cappucino at least 4 times a day a large one... espresso in between and ristretto after dinner and in the mornings... anyhow they look cool :) |
I swear by my french press... I have a good coffee maker but don't touch it.
Make sure you grind your beans pretty coarse, and it should work great. Also, use filtered/spring water if you can, for a fresher taste :) |

Want great coffee, get this:
http://products.saeco.com/prodotto.a...rticolo=740813 You just need to feed the coffee beans and the machine does all the rest. |
yeah.. Juicy.. fresh presses rock.. you should be able to pick up that same bodum press at your local starbucks... for about the same price.. and then you don't have to wait...
they can even grind your beans nice and course.. and much more uniform wiht thier burr griders.. just store it in your cabinet inside a ziplock freezer bag... never store you coffe in a freezer or fridge.. as it absorbs odors like baking soda does... |
Juicy,
Try one of these. Great brewing process and a hell of a presentaion. http://www.hariousa.com/concofsypmod.html http://store6.yimg.com/I/hario_1775_5677865 |
