Do you drink different types of beer in the same night?
 

I'm just wondering when your drinking beers do you normally just stick with one type for the night or drink several different ones?

I normally have lots of different beer and a friend of mine thought it was odd I kept drinking different beers. WTF?

I hate beer... Can't stand it... Hopefully i'm not the only one who seems to hate it...

I shouldn't have made the post just about beer. Just wondering if people mix up the drinks or tend to stick to a certain drink all night?

Drinking the same beer all night is just bullshit and bad taste.

I tend to mix them up a bit.

Start the night on something nice and tasty. Smirnoff Ice usually. Get about 5 or 6 down me and move onto Vodka and Lemonade. Drink lots of them then move onto Vodka along with a shot of something, each round I change my shot.

Makes for an interesting time trying to call a taxi :)

Nothing wrong with switching beers if you haven't found one in particular you really love more than the rest. I've tried several hundred different types in my years of drinking, have been quite loyal to a few though. Some beer drinkers are fiercely loyal to one brand, others like variety.

Mixing different types of hard liquor in the same night is another matter. It affects some people very badly, others it does nothing to at all. Personally.... I try not to mix drinks up too much. If I'm drinking vodka in an evening I will stick with vodka drinks for that evening.

i usually start with some high % quebec beer (usually Don De Dieu from Unibroue) a 9% triple fermentation blonde beer.
After something more usual/commercial in the bars, molson dry/molson ex or in the summer bavaria/corona/sol

I hate beer.

I used to drink it a lot, got sick a bunch of times, and now I cant even stand the smell.

It depends on how long I'm drinking. :winkwink:

If I'm just catching a couple drinks, I'll try to stay on the same beer. If I'm going pub crawling, it's going to get mixed up...and I'm going to throw in a few other alcohols for good measure.

I hope to give a couple different one a try every night!

depending under what circumstances I'm drinking, I'll probably drink different sorts of beer... yeah why not ?? :thumbsup

I usually start with Harps or Bass Ale somethijng similar, then as it gets later in the evening I'll switch to something like Mich Light, with a few shots of Jaegermeister here and there.

sure .. I mix all kinds of beer .. Pillsner, Budweiser .. doesn't metter

This thread is making me thirsty for a beer. Time to check the fridge.

There a couple of places that I go to, and they have about 200 different beers available.

Can't see having the same beer more than once at a place like this.

Cheap beer? for someone like you I suggest drinking alot of Listerine or a bottle of cough syrup.

I drink whatever I have...different beers all the time

If I'm in a beer drinking mood:

first 1 or 2 lagers
then 1 double
then 1 tripple and continue the tripples until you're satisfied.

usually:
grolsch or heineken
hertog jan dubbel
westmalle tripel / gulden draak


These are all Dutch and Belgian beers so it wouldnt make sense to you. :)
