What is up with theatre majors?
 

I was thinking about my friends that used to be theatre majors... I decided that I was a bad friend for allowing them to go on thinking they were good and that they would make it big. The truth is most college actors are horrible and they don't know it.

If I had the chance I would go back in time and tell them... Hey, get a real degree. Or hey, do something. Or hey, you should really stop hanging out with your performance arts pals. Or hey, not everything is a tragic drama. Or hey, quit acting so goth or wiccan.

All the theatre people I am friends with try to be so dark and dramatic. Okay, sorry for ranting about it. I was just watching American Idol on TIVO (my fiance loves it) and I was thinking how bad some of the singers friends are to allow them to go and make fools out of themselves. Then I thought about how I used to tell my theatre friends how talented they were when they really were not. Oh well....
