It looks like John Kerry has taken major steps toward winning the Democratic nomination. So...if you had the choice between John Kerry and G.W. Bush... who would you choose?

I think kerry will give bush good competition but bush will win again

Kerry is a decorated war hero who killed communists.

Bush is a guy who got his dad to help him avoid the Vietnam war and then went missing from his National Guard duty.

The fact that right wingers support Bush shows that almost everything they say about "patriotism" and "character" is bullshit.

That's interesting....didn't John Kerry make several impassioned speeches both times that Clinton ran, saying that the fact that Clinton dodged any kind of military service altogether by fleeing the country did not in any way reflect upon his character or his ability to be president.

Ahh yes.....The classic model of left-wing "democracy" and the "open exchange of ideas".

Sometimes I find liberal viewpoints to somewhat wierd. A lot of them seem to spend a lot of time parading their openness, fairness, and tolerance; while at the same time personally attacking anyone who dares to disagree.

There is no "both ways". John Kerry has always said that people had a right to avoid service if they did it legally. Kerry chose to serve his country in Vietnam.

Right wingers have always said that dodging Vietnam made a person not worthy of being president.

If right wingers think that dodging Vietnam means you shouldn't be president and they have a choice between a war hero and a Vietnam dodger, then it is right wingers being hypocritical supporting the person who avoided vietnam and then went missing from their National Guard service.

The hypocrisy here is from those who said one thing a few years ago and now they say the opposite.

Bush supporters trapped themselves with their own words and now they look like idiots.

After episodes of "events" - not just relating to "wars" - it is clear that this current Admin are not credible. It is little more than a "secret club" within the government and lacks any form of accountability. That is not any form of "democracy".

Time and time again, this piece of trash has lied to both the American people and the rest of the world. This is *not* an honorable man or one who can be trusted with a candy store.

BTW.. I am not "into" all the democratic, republican, liberal, communist or any other crap - I'm talking about *basic qualities* which this Admin severely lacks.
