i still remember when i first started posting to a message board, everytime someone said *bump*, i thaught they meant taking a bump of cocaine. then i realised that i wasn't surrounded by coke heads...

A bump wasnt to mean exactly the word bump but for example if a member was to use the same thread for something and didnt get a response and used it again does it still get seen or is it back in tihreads. What sparked the thoughts was the inability to use the search feature. And how GFYers are encourged to post same subjects into similar threads and not start 2 posts on same topic.

The official GFY frequently asked questions page says that it's 2 unless the post you inititially made was stupid, then it that case you can only bump it once.
