I'd imagine it is better in some ways, and worse in others. Not much professional stuff going on here, more fn and games, gossip and stuff. But if you want to get known to a big part of the online adult comunity it is a very good place

Everything seems much better and kinda more user-friendly at the beginning.

a lot more people these days from different sides of the industry (and some not even in the industry). In some ways that is good and bad in others.

It also feels a tad less mean but I think that might be because I've adapted to the level of meanies.

The more things change, the more things stay the same. The nostalgia effect or illusion is in play when old-timers long for the good old days when the board used to be so much better. I think it's a lot of the same old thing myself. Just different actors playing the same old roles.
