When you were a kid did you have any crazy views, beliefs, or opinions where years later you think back and think WTF was I thinking??

What were some of them?

Having crazy views and ideas is one of the joys about being a kid.

We thought if we stopped the war in Vietnam the US would give up trying to colonise the world.

I thought of this thread topic because I was just thinking about how when I was a little kid you think doctors are good people that can fix anything.

:1orglaugh ... I even naively believed something like "whoever finds a cure for aids/cancer/etc is going to be a gazillionaire from curing people"

But the cold fact is they'll never offer public cures shit like that.. not without having something worse to replace it with.

Far more money is made off all these diseases and conditions existing than would be made by actually eliminating them.
