This thing i'm on is 2.8 and have had it well over a year..

how old?

also, is it XPPro or Home?

I just checked the invoice date, it's actually exactly two years old... purchased it in Feb of 2002.

But I have done lots of upgrades to keep it healthy and up-to-date ;)..

it was shipped with a 40 gig hard drive, which I swapped out... It was also shipped with only 256 Mb Ram, it now has 768 mb ram...

Hey there.. Thanks for the interest... I really can't go any lower than $500.00... the laptop I want to buy is $800.00 so all I can fork out on my own is the extra $300.00.
