Wesley Clark Drops Out
Damn. At the beginning I thought he had a good chance of beating Bush. Now he's out.

Wow, that's too bad. I thought he was a pretty good candidate. Hopefully, the vote will solidify behind anyone or anything that will beat bush.
That's fine, he didn't have it and should have dropped out after Oklahoma.
Democrats need to focus on Edwards, not Kerry, if they want to beat Bush. JMHO :) |
I beat bush every night.
Probably won't even make the footnotes for Election '04.
I think he had a better shot at it than Kerry. Damn.
He'll be back, I think. Has to get more name recognition to have a real chance.
He's a General. He knows when its time to attack and when its time to retreat. No point in continuing to fight a war he can't possibly win now.
Don't give up yet... Tennessee hasn't fully reported...
I really liked the General.
Maybe next time. |
A real shame.. guess he didn't have the politicians knack of camera work and spin and "working the room". shame because that same lack of polish is what makes him a great candidate.
I liked Clark alot, on paper. But when he finally began to run, it seemed to me like he wasn't enjoying himself. Like he was forcing himself to smile and shake hands. LIke he had a disdain for politics and all the crap and scrutiny that comes with it. But let's face it, politics is the name of the game.
I think he wanted the gig, just didn't want to campaign for it. JMHO |
Fucking Democrats are so gol damn stupid! He was clearly the best shot at Bush. Parties just can't seem to elect someone in the middle. The last time one was smart enough to (REagan) they ran away with it. So sad.
