I was back there scouting for studio space for a midwest location and I found 5000 sg ft biuldings for as little as 700.00 a month in theh capital city.
the hooters girl told me she got paid 3.60 hr and would JUMP at the chance to make say 200 for BG..... its my next stop. after we set up a new spot in seattle.

for real meaning? I'm just curious about how much it costs to live in Iowa.

Dubuque is actually in my opinion one
of the coolest cities here. Much more to
do there than here. I've won a lot of money
at the dog track up there too...GO #6!!

I was born and raised in Sioux City....Iowa isn't as bad as it sounds. :) Good wholesome life, farms, cows, pigs, talking about Pork Belly futures, the smell of the stockyard, detassling corn, walking the beans in the summer...OMG! What am I saying??? :)

Heck yeah, it's a good way to get initiated into the work force. Did it every summer since I was a kid, right through college. :) It was a part of life on the farm....and a sure way to make money for school.

I'm saying, I really do miss Iowa sometimes, though Montana is great. There really is something about life on the farm....:)

i was impressed by the amount of corn in iowa. holy shit. but i spend some time visiting people in CD and iowa city. i was also impressed by how hot the broads were in iowa city. and i was expecting white trash chicks, but i didn't see that many there

there are quite a few hot hoes down in IC but
most of em are stuck up little bitches. IC is the place
to go out. Lots of ppl there with the University of Iowa.

Iowa City is a HUGE college city. Go there in the summer and the population gets cut in half.

Lots of good looking chicks that are willing to shoot.....for cheap. Posing nude is so taboo in the world of small town gossip.

But I have heard it's illegal to shoot penetration here, so that kinda sucks.

I lived in Cedar Rapids for a while, And Des moines.. But that was when I was really little.. I have gone back to visit a couple times..
