I meant "personally" as in physically, face-to-face.
Not ordered someone else to do it.

Bush Jr avoided going to war.
Clinton avoided going to war.

I looked it up and Kenedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, and Carter
were all in the Navy, but I'm not sure what that meant in those times.

Eisenhower was in the army, but a quick search only brings up
vague info like "he commanded" and I don't know if that means
he was actually there, or safely behind the ranks.(?)

Gogobar, he doesn't get it from his daddy, who got it from his daddy before him and so on and so forth, that's good enough for me.

Marrying into money is just smart. Being born into it and thinking you earned it is stupid.

Either way he didn't earn it. It's ONLY when you DO earn it that it impresses me. He's just as much of a snob as the next one :)

If I recall right Kerry is married to one of the richest woman in the US.

For sure he is not doing it to steal form the tax payer.
