I have a social drink or two every couple of months. I don't really care for alcohol too much.

Yea, surprisingly many people say that they don't drink because they feel out of control.

I had half a glass of wine with dinner at Saturday, and I think I had two shots of tequila at Internext.. Before that I had half a beer at Cybernet... I think I've consumed about 3 shots worth of booze in the past year? I tend not to drink.

I do drink alcohol... but I do not get drunk. Most often times, like in Vegas, I'll drink 3, maybe 4 drinks through out an entire night.

I just don't see the need to be out of control, or to fall down all the time, or to make an ass of myself.... in short, I can have fun without being intoxicated.

Even were I not pregnant, I just don't drink. I might have a corona once every 6 months, if that, but that's about the extent of it.

So would you say that you only drink alcohol because you like the taste of it?

Definitely no... I really don't like the taste of alcohol.

I drink it because it's the social thing to do, when out with friends.

I grew up in a bar (family business) and as I got older, I found that if you're hanging out with a group of people, and they're all drunk, and you're not.... they feel very uncomfortable around you. Like you're going to judge them, or remember every dumb thing they do and they won't. You know?

However, if you have a drink in your hand, then it helps allow people to relax more around you. You are then "included" into the group.

Last drink that I had was at the IA2000 in New Orleans, one of those Icee drinks (a Hurricane?) on Bourbon St. It's been Diet Coke ever since.

On occassion a beer, glass or wine, or a mixed drink. I never drink to get drunk anymore except every few years during birthday party.

WTF??? There are more ppl here that don't drink at all that drinkers??

caribbean blood is alcohol... so no matter if I drink or not.
so I admit, I spent 20 years without drinking any alcohol. It's not the case now ;)

guys with small dicks or complete nerds dont drink liqour. you have to be a complete dork not to sit down and have a beer once and a while. if i found out one of my friends stopped drinking they would be disowned.

I drink occasionally, but I am not a drunk.

I don't drink except on very rare occassions. The last time was the Miami InterNext convention where I evidently made up for lost time.
No alcohol tolerance + 4% bodyfat + 10 hours of rum and coke = I was fucked up!

I've started drinking less in the past few months, I'll have a few but stop when I know I've had enough. I've even started taking my car when going to clubs, it's great knowing I'm sober coming out and can jump into a car and be home quickly rather than waiting about on a taxi to pick me up.

I may drink once a month.

I usually like to have a nice 40 oz. Miller High Life and maybe a few Heinkens!

I used to drink Jack and Coke...But I am chilling on the hard stuff for awhile. It gives me dry mouth like a motherfucker when I am trying to go to sleep after drinking it.

I rarely drink.....having said that...put me in an all-inclusive resort and I have a drink in my hand from the moment i wake up until I pass out at night. Not sure why I make the drastic change..but it works for me!

Once a week, once every two weeks, depends on my mood. Never during the week, only in weekends. I like the tastes of some alcoholic beverages, esp. champagne, cognac, wine, special beer and vodka. So I wouldn't give up my occasional "drinking".

i love a drink when im out with friends. dont often get totally wasted just wasted enough to have regrets the next day :winkwink:

The last drink I had was a sip of mead for my wedding anniversary back in October. I just don't drink like I used to. :)
