Would you push this? $60 per sale

I'm posting for a buddy that wants to start a CUSTOM term paper site. Basically, these 20 page reports for college students/grad students cost $120. $60 will be paid to the referring webmaster.

Would you guys be interested in pushing this?

Sound like a good idea, but would some college kid with very little income afford $120?

What do you think the proper price should be?

dunefield 02-11-2004 10:12 AM

is that legal?

slims999 02-11-2004 10:12 AM

$80 maybe.

cold_ice 02-11-2004 10:16 AM

Maybe have three different options with different prices. The more cash the better and longer the paper. I would think start off at about $75 and up from there.:2 cents:

Rick Latona 02-11-2004 10:17 AM

I'll sell the domain essayist.com for 800 dollars.

Maybe $75 for 5 pages

100 for 10 pages

120 for 15 pages

150 for 20 pages

will this work?

axelcat 02-11-2004 10:18 AM

Nice:thumbsup

:1orglaugh I doubt it, well at least in the the eyes of the college, but he said custom term papers meaning there will be no two papers exactly alike, so how could anyone know.:thumbsup

wdsguy 02-11-2004 10:20 AM

Heh I'm a junior in college right now and trust me noone is going to pay that much for a paper when their friend will do it for less.

It would technically be illegal for students to use the service, though there's no way of tracking. Universities would really hate the service because of the unique nature of each paper. Lots of rich kids out there too - especially ones with tuition loans.. $120 would likely be worth it for a final paper to some desperate ones. I'd mainly hope they'd just use them as research papers... but yeah.. :)

Cheers,
Matt

What do you propose?

Also, how fast should the delivery be?

I'm sure it'd be a different in end grade depending on what you pay. Mind you, if you have a smart keen friend who needs money then could work out. :)

Cheers,
Matt

These types of services are nothing new.

Colleges do know about them, and they've actually got special programs to search the major essay supplier databases for existing papers to see if you are a plagiarist.

The problem with custom papers is that they are rarely custom from start to finish. They just take a regular paper and change the wording here and there. That's why they are so cheap. They buy an existing essay (on a topic they know nothing about) from a different source, change it around a little and then sell it to you as one of a kind.

It's not custom, and if the college picks out a couple sentences in "your" paper and it comes up in the search then you are screwed.

jawanda 02-11-2004 10:59 AM

There are already a lot of services like that out there that charge between $5 and $10 / page ... 'guaranteed' to get a good grade, supposedly written by ex-professors and grad students with specialties in just about every subject.

:2 cents:

But, I doubt any of them have affiliate programs!

"Worried about that Final Essay while you're trying to jerk off? STOP WORRYING and START JERKING."

Trax 02-11-2004 11:06 AM

sounds nice lol

pimplink 02-11-2004 11:07 AM

It will be guaranteed custom.

Also, supports all the popular citation forms out there... MLA, TURABIAN, AALS, etc etc

We'll lower prices and increase payouts to affiliates. What do you all think?

Who will be writing those papers?

By custom does it mean that the customer will pick any random topic and someone will put together a 10-20 page paper about it?

Apparently, they have grad students writing this material.

Also, the client only needs to give a question and a list of sources they want the crew to read and research

Apparently there's one way to do it cheaply here in the USA :)

PersianKitty 02-12-2004 01:17 PM

I wrote term papers in college for athletes. $300 for 15 pages typed. Went up from there. Of course those were the days when you had to actually go to the library to do research. It wasn't all available on the Net...er there was no Net.

I dont think this is something adult would be good at promoting - espically not high school papers as most HS kids are under the legal age of majority.

There are alot of family values nuts out there that would love to hang the adult industry as a whole out to dry. This would give them just the excuse they need. They'd argue that the adult industry was targeting minors. Whether its true or not dosent matter - people with agendas hide behind the chilren and use them as pawns to further thier agendas.

To date, the adult industry has been under relatively little fire (as opposed to tobacco and other industries) because we have done such a good job of stay away from targeting kids. Most webmasters rate thier sites and encourage software blocking companies to include them in thier blocks.

It would be like the adult industry promoting various lines of children's toys. Learn from the tobacco industry's blunders - there are some things that adult should stay away from and this is one of them.
