Animated Desktop

is there such a program that will do this? Instead of having just a picture of a waterfall... it would be a looped still clip of the waterfull running. possibly with sound.

is there such a thing?

im curious as well.

I wanted to make wallpapers that have a clickable link of them, but the only way I hav found to do that is to make it an html page and then load it as your desktop.

Any other ideas?

Better yet, is there a way to make a clickable link set your background as an html page?

i did that once before. If you use XP, go to "Control Panel", click "Display". Hit the "Desktop" tab and click "Customize Desktop". Hit the "Web" tab and create "New" to display a Web page of your choice as your desktop.

I used to know of a few progz that did this.... If I find them, I'll let you know. :)

PlayGirl 02-10-2004 02:49 PM

that would be pretty nifty eh?

TweetyBird 02-10-2004 02:51 PM

indeed, but I've never seen anything like that :(

hova 02-10-2004 02:55 PM

No, I mean how can I put a link on a website that when clicked will set the user's background as a webpage I specify?

Heather Hamptons 02-10-2004 03:09 PM

Yeah thats what I am saying. I know I can do it to my own but I want it to be easier for my memebrs to do. Id like them to be able to set it as their desktop without having to go through 1000 steps.

So this way my members/fans, whatever you wanna call them, can click the link and be brought right to my website.

It would be a great way to get traffic and more sales.
