Buying on eBay - CC statements.
 

I'm looking over one of my CC statements from last month and on January 10th I have a $300 charge from www.ebay.com. I never bought anything on eBay, and definitely not January 10th.

I'm really confused. Can eBay even charge your card? I thought everything was done through PayPal.

They only charge your card for sellers fees. Maybe someone stole your c/c and listed some scam auctions or something.

You have to have a credit card on file if you ever want to list any items to sell, so they probably do have your card if in the past you sold something.

Dunno how it is now with the paypal integration.

I bought something on eBay once, 2 years ago. They didn't require CC information then. Damn, now this is driving me crazy! Will have to call tomorrow...
