I'm new to the forum and I've noticed people talking about sigs and money, how does that work. Do people actually pay to have something in your signature or what? And if so where do you find people who want to give you money?

Just put this one in your sig space and McDonalds will start sending you coupons for free happy meals. That's how everybody starts at first.

If I were you I'd rather spend my time reading the few nice threads in this forum (like the TOP 10 posted on the mailing list) instead of trying to sell your sig... :2 cents:

I'm not worrying about just wondered if it was true or whatever.

On the 27th of every month, GFY will open a Sig Selling/Sig Buying forum. Post in there saying that you're selling your sig. If someone takes you up on the offer, they will send you some cash (usually through paypal).

Thanks, I just didn't think people would actually buy someone's signature space.

No I came here because I heard it was a good forum if you needed help with things or advice. I read about the sigs in some thread about some dude going on vacation and someone wanting a refund because he wasn't going to be posting and no one would see his sig.

If you are an established poster, so can sell your sig for a nice amount of $$$$.
Most people who sell their sigs for high amounts, are big players in this biz.
But some of them are just board whores, who entertain the rest of lonely GFY'ers all day.
Important note: it is not sufficient to post a lot here and be perceived as a big player. It is also necessary that people know your face. Quiet may be an exception here, but hey..I don't hink he sold his sig. :Graucho

i can voucher for that, i used it in my sig and it worked so well i now own my very own store and don't need a sig no more.
