Media Bias
So there's this memo we found in Iraq, supposedly written by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a 'suspected' member of Al Qaeda. In it, he laments that Iraq's population is being stubbornly resistant to recruitment by extremists, and points out that our practice of recruiting Iraqis to be the Iraqi police is problematic to the extremists, because it means that the people policing the country will actually have a vested interest in maintaining order, and working against the extremists, because they're going to want to keep their families safe. He actually says "We can pack up and leave and look for another land, just like what has happened in so many lands of jihad. Our enemy is growing stronger day after day, and its intelligence information increases...By God, this is suffocation!...The Americans will continue to control from their bases, but the sons of this land will be the authority."
According to the writer of this letter, what we're doing over in Iraq right now is kicking Islamofascism in the balls, over and over and over again.
And how does CNN spin this? Report: Iraqis Want al-Qaida to Drive U.S. Out.
I love this shit. Yeah, there's no media bias. Well, I suppose it could just be incomprehensible levels of incompetence.
