Actually, was concerned about that then did some research... Loads about average to most THUMB based TGP's... Yes, sold one... keeping this one for a while... Decided to work it a bit... if anything.. I will get more if I decide to sell later.

I have too many banners... that is the slowness... once I get more content and other stuff some banner spots will be removed allowing for faster loading pages.

About as many times as I hear... "the check is good, please send my script now".

Yes, they do... They are all being called from the same database... they are set NOT to repeat banners on the same page. This causes some delay while the program sets the banners for viewing... seriously, :winkwink:

You have to be kidding me. You actually think you're going to pull an extra sale from someone sending 1k hits to your TGP? How in the hell is 1k hits enough to "test traffic" on a TGP? I send 1k CLICKS (these are targeted surfers interested in more porn of the given niche) without necessarily expecting a sale.

Looks like you're just trying to sucker free traffic off of some poor sap. Here's a thought: want to test traffic? Buy it or generate it yourself, just like the rest of us...

Actually, the 8 88x88 Thumbs are actually banners... my ISP will not allow for the magik plug in so the TGP software uses GD instead and the thumbs look like shit... so I created a bunch of 88x88 images and use the banner program to rotate the images like a thumb TGP... this is a temp thing till I can get this hosted on another server and get different TGP software.

Why not just go out and ask for handouts instead?
I'm sure that will pay a lot more really.

WTF do I know about traffic? 1k not enough then how much is? If you read the post you quoted.. you will see why I WILL NOT BUY anything form anyone without testing it first. Especially something like traffic. How do I know that the traffic I buy is good? Sorry, I am still starting out, I am not making the $$$ in this business some of you are... I have to be SURE that every PENNY spent is being spent wisely.

Let me instill some quick logic into this thread, just because I can't take the stupidity anymore...

Bob the Traffic Broker sends you 1k hits to your TGP via exit console. Now first off, surfers aren't crazy about exit consoles. How many will close the window right away? Let's just say 5% since I don't have any numbers. Now you're down to 950.

Your page comes up and is slow as hell. Nobody is going to wait for that, especially exit traffic. There's a reason most exit chains are mainly tables, they load faster! So there you lose 10% of the initial 1k, now we're down to 850.

So a couple surfers start clicking around a bit and checking out a couple galleries. You end up getting 1.5k gallery impressions out of that. Of those gallery impressions, let's say 5% click thru to the sponsor. So that's 75 sponsor clicks.

Honestly, I have no answer for that.

I was being lean with 1k because I do not want people to think I am trying to get free traffic.

I am only looking for one GOOD person who wants to do this. 1 month... as much traffic YOU think is necessary to make a good judgement...

Why doesn't NBDesign do like everyone else, and actually *buy* a little bit of traffic to test. I mean, 1000 hits is *nothing*, and no one can make any judgements about the convertability of the traffic.

For example, our traffic sells for between $1.50 and $8.00cpm. Even if he tried the "best" traffic at $8, what does that tell him? If he makes *one* sale, we're heroes. If he makes *zero* sales, we're scammers.

And, still being in the midst of "tweaking" your page instills *NO* confidence that you know how to market anything. Build a bullet proof page with killer conversions, and THEN buy/beg traffic for it. Otherwise, your just wanking.

You're afraid of being scammed for a few K of traffic??? Some minimal research on this or any other board, and you'll quickly find out who you can and cannot trust to buy traffic.

Just yesterday, jennycards posted an excellent discussion about buying traffic, and did a comparison of about a dozen traffic sources.

I think you're just trying to get free traffic to your site, which is admirable enough, just don't start talking shit about things you don't seem to understand.

Why don't you fucking buck up and:

1) search gfy and see which traffic brokers get good reviews

2) drop a few dollars to buy 5k from the top 5 that you find.

That is how business works in the real world.
