India Has Nuclear Weapons

I want you to think about this: India has nuclear weapons. Lots of nuclear weapons.

Two trees "married" to appease rain god in Indian village
Quote:

NEW DELHI (AFP) - Hundreds of people have attended a wedding between two trees in hopes of pleasing the god of rain, United News of India reported. To the chanting of Hindu hymns a cleric tied a knot on a neem tree, which was the bride, to solemnise its eternal union with a peepul tree, the news agency said. The guests, who included a local legislator of India's ruling Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party, were all invited for a feast after the wedding in a village near the former French colony Pondicherry.

Rituals to bring rain such as marriages between animals are common in rural India. More than 70 percent of the country's billion-plus population is employed in agriculture.

They're called the, "Thankyou, Come again" Class warhead. :ak47:

If they ever launced a nuke at America it would get shot out of the atmosphere and we'll launch 100 to their 1. I'm not a gambling man but I'll go with the odds on this one. :thumbsup

Not good news, I can't quite work out if it's a good thing because it stops pakistan starting a war or a bad thing if real trouble started and they would use them against pakistan.

The good news is tentions between the 2 nations are calming and India is a friend of the west.

darksoft 02-10-2004 12:14 AM

So welcome to a couple years ago or so. India and Pakistan have both had nukes. I'm willing to bet neither one can make a decent batch of macaroni and cheese and hot dogs...

missnat 02-10-2004 12:20 AM

Us sold the technology to make nukes to both India and Pakistan. Money makes the rules not Morals in the land of the peaceloving people.
:ak47: :BangBang: :ak47: :thumbsup

jimboc 02-10-2004 12:23 AM

India is still a powerful country though, i would put more trust in India as a nation than France based on past issues and history...
