Whats this new TGP rule crap?
 

Have any of you come across these sites that say you cant submit galleries to their TGP unless you include one of their sponsor banners & link in your submitted gallery.

Example: If you submit a black gallery you have to dl a banner for pimp4aday and put their ref code in YOUR GALLERY in order to be approved?

I understand them trying to increase revenue, but this is the wrong method. If you want to run a TGP then post the webmaster's galleries - If you want revenue from every gallery on your site then use sponsor hosted galleries or build them yourself.

Why would someone buy content, build pages, submit them just so the TGP owner can steal the sale?

For best listing results, use ALL of their affiliate links. Last week I posted a gallery to The Hun using his affiliate codes. He gave me a #1 listing twice in one week. Sure I didn't get any of the revenue, but I came away with over 300k unique hits!

some big tgps have had the rule for years. mark's bookmark and sublime do, and i think superchicken did back in the day when they were a large tgp presence...

Never seen one ask that,but if they did i would do..hey they're giving you their tarffic right.

IT's not new, there were sites doing this back when I submitted to TGPs over 5 years ago...

If the traffic is worth it, you won't even notice this. Now, if it is a CJ mega site, fuck that noise. I have enough of that shit already. But for sites like Mark's, Zilla, etc. you do what needs to be done.

I know its not a bad deal for the TGP owner. I was looking at it from the submitting webmaster. Well whatever floats ya boat.
