Slick 02-08-2004 08:56 PM

WOW, that should kick some ass. It has Spielberg directing still and Lucas working on it, so it should be good.

TweetyBird 02-08-2004 08:59 PM

I hope they won't screw everything up, as they do in so many sequels..:winkwink:

Validus 02-08-2004 09:03 PM

I hope they keep off the visual effects and try to keep it to the old style movie making.

gornyhuy 02-08-2004 09:08 PM

yeah, I'm so sick of computer animated movie effects right now... and I hope Lucas gets rid of all his cheesiness on his Star Wars work and leaves Indy as cool as ever.

Agreed, it was one of the reasons why I didn?t watch the new Terminator. It was just too much, or the trailers where really poor.

crockett 02-08-2004 09:22 PM

cool, sounds good but I hope they don't fuck it up and replace the storyline with big explosions

funny. looking at the same facts, i'd say that's two strikes against it already.

Validus 02-09-2004 12:10 AM

It took them long enough to get the existing Indiana Jones movies on DVD.

Joe Citizen 02-09-2004 12:13 AM

Fuck I hope not.

The last thing the world needs is another Indiana Jones movie.

"Race to the theatres this summer for the next action packed installment of Indiana Jones and the Geriatric's Crusade where a band of horny amazon women throw Indy from his wheel chair only to find that his ancient bone can't be revived, not even with Viagra."

bhutocracy 02-09-2004 12:41 AM

"Ford (60) and Connery (72) are only 12 years apart in age. Without "old guy" makeup, they might appear more like brothers in this film than son and father"

damn

abyss_al 02-09-2004 01:27 AM

i herd the screenplay will be written by the same guy who made sign!...M. Night Shyamalan....awsome:thumbsup

Rictor 02-09-2004 01:29 AM

Batman, Fantastic Four, Indiana Jones...be crazy if all 3 opened 4th of July weekend. The theatre would get a lot of my money that week.

Is there a new Batman as well?

Vitasoy 02-09-2004 02:40 AM

I hope, they don't mess it up...

CaroMark 02-09-2004 09:12 AM

Hell, I would just like to know where I could make an investment in the film, I would wager the ROI would be great!
As a fan goes I am looking forward to the new movie, even the Young Indiana Jones shows were pretty good!

How come action-adventure movies star 60+ y.o. actors?

myjah 02-09-2004 09:50 AM

should be good since they kept Harrison Ford

Alex Xe 02-09-2004 10:13 AM

Arousal Design 02-09-2004 10:49 AM

Very interesting, I'm sure it'll be all the rave.

Yup

"This one is said to be based on the script Batman: The Frightening, featuring The Scarecrow as the lead baddie. The movie initially was to be based on Frank Miller's graphic novel Batman: YO, a film-noir-infused, four-issue story written in 1987 and published by DC Comics that detailed Bruce Wayne's first year as Batman, including the self-doubts and blunders he had to overcome in order to emerge as a full-blown crime fighter. "

Batman will be played by Christian Bale and is expected to be release in the summer of 2005

Lykos 02-09-2004 11:53 AM

Looking forward to watch that:thumbsup

I am not sure, I think they shouldn't be juggling actors through the roles. Batman is a classic, should keep the same actor.

Black Dog 02-09-2004 12:11 PM

My prediction: Terminator 4 starring The Rock. Coming to theatres in 2010.

Wow, I wonder how old that Asian kid is now

PlayGirl 02-09-2004 01:05 PM

i thought indiana jones was a love story?

Johny Traffic 02-09-2004 01:08 PM

I wonder if it will be a total load of boloxs like the other 3 films?

Tim 02-09-2004 01:12 PM

I can't believe I still recognize all those Goonie guys -classic!

Indiana Jones sounds like a good plan but I agree about the dangers of overusing CGI

Validus 02-09-2004 01:12 PM

People people people, Indiana Jones is a Fantasy figure? LOL. Like Batman for example? no magic powers or nothing.

We watched the third one last night and it's as good as one and two.

But right about the digital effects.

Arty 02-09-2004 03:19 PM

I hope they can keep the spirit of first three. But I'm gonna watch it anyway :glugglug

Paul -C- 02-09-2004 03:21 PM

Sounds promising already :)
