Beating a dead horse.
 

I spent a few hours today looking for some additional sponsors. I always visit their tours and if it looks appealing to me I then immediatly check the sites title-18 2257 notice. I personally refuse to promote any site that is not compliant. Afterall if I use their promo material it very well could be my ass that ends up on the line.

Again I was very dissapointed in what I found. The vast majority of new sites I checked were all non compliant. Is it really that difficult to follow these very clear and simple rules? Or is it that many site or program owners are ran out of ones home and they want nobody to know what they do for a living?

Is your shame of what you do worth the potential jail time you and others that are trusting in your program worth it?

I really find it hard for anyone in this business to plead ignorance in regards to this law this late in the game. I know for many this does not matter as long as they get their checks on time, it just irks the hell out of me and crosses yet another site that I would promote off my list.

Oh well.

Nothing new there. Hell...I personally set up the 2257 page for one program and it was 101% compliant. Then somebody decided to go in and change shit around and now it's not.

People are fucking retards.....I keep telling you this but nobody fucking listens.
