Give us more details, it could be hitbot traffic or pink links on red background...

IMHO click-through rate is often underestimated or even not measured.

Bookmarks are juicy too, not just sales.

I have a good number of people that buy traffic from me on a regular basis. I also have people that buy a small amount once and they don't wind up getting anymore.

I always try to give my customers advice on which types of my traffic would be best for their sites and also some suggestions on ways to improve the page that they are sending to.

It all comes down to money. If you make more money than you spent on the traffic, then you're ahead of the game. A profit, no matter what size is still positive cash flow.

Most of my repeat buyers seem to be having luck with FPAs, their own paysites, links lists, and a few other types of adult pages.

:2 cents:

I'd say that most of the people buying traffic, from whatever source (be it traffic brokers or PPC SE's) that bitch about shitty results, probably only have themselves to blame. If you see the way some of these people attempt to market sites, you can't help but laugh. The classic "millions of pictures and "thousands of videos" shit, which is a blatantly obvious lie once the surfer reaches the tour.

And they wonder why it doesn't convert. I'd rather have 5 out of 100 customers with a realistic expectation click through than 100 people that are going to wind up being disappointed.
