What excuses do you have not to quit a devastating habit?

I quit ten years ago.:smokin

I quit smoking, but started grinding my teeth while I slept, so I started back up.

I never started :)

And furthermore, it's hard for me to understand people willingly spend thousands every year demolishing their bodies

Cuz it's not all that fucking easy, had they had those must be 18 to buy laws when i was 13 and buying i probably wouldnt be puffing right now.

I honestly must admit that it was really fucking stupid of me to start. I am trying to quit now!

I enjoy smoking so I haven't quit.

You know what they say. The worst type of non-smoker is an ex-smoker. I stopped in '99 cold turkey. Was hell quiting..but very glad I did.

It is amazing how addictions can sneak up on you. They say quitting cigs is more difficult than quitting heroin.

The ONLY time I miss a cig is on RARE occassions after a meal or with coffee. It took me a long time to stop my left hand automatically reaching for my cigs while I was reading the monitor too!

I never tried to quit them couse i like them..if ever in my life cigs are not nice to me i will quit them,until them Malrboro is my friend:thumbsup

I used to enjoy smoking - And thought I would quite should the pleasure of smoking leave me.

I haven't enjoyed a cigarette in years - And now I am far too week-minded to give the damn things up.
Hate the bloody things - They smell, make me and my clothes smell.
