Blacklisted at the hun, if that is the case does it say BANNED when posting?
 

Just curious, I posted some time ago to thehun, and I misspelled the "magic word" stipud TYPO..

I read it well get you banned bla bla, but I was so stupid to push back and correct the error without reading the whole txt.

I tried posting later(few days) and it says gallery /email /etc good, and also received the conformation...

Does this mean I'm NOT banned? Or does thehun sends confirmations anyway?

ANd yes I know they have email, I tried that, but I guess my email is lost somewhere, and don't wanna disturb them again with my mistakes :-)

there are so many reasons not to publish it :)

There are indeed a whole bunch of people hand-submitting hundreds of galleries every month that get the confirmation e-mail and all, but will never be listed 'cause my bot takes care of 'em as soon as they're confirmed. But these people send me over 10-20 submissions daily. I want to list as many different people as possible, so one guy submitting 20 times is blacklisted... After a lot of warnings of course...

Anyway, we're not so uptight that we're blacklisting people for making a typo when submitting. The tool is more that to discourage people from using auto-submitters. We can easily pick those out 'cause one domain that makes 20 typos a day can't be anything else than a bot. But if you make a typo, and then fix it, we're absolutely sure you're not a bot... People make mistakes, so a type when submitting makes you all the more human ;-)

I've made typos before, but it's never earned me a blacklisting. Like he said.. If there are over 20 errors a day, it can't be anything other than a bot!

TheHun is very forgiving and seems to appreciate honest folks. I have made a blunder or two in the past...usually because I was submitting when I was half asleep and should have gone to bed. I have not been banned though because they were little honest mistakes and after submitting there for a while now I'm sure they have figured out I don't cheat and I always follow their rules.

Agree, the Hun is a stand up guy and good businessman. If he blacklisted all mistakes then he would not be where he is today. I have had galleries listed there and am always happy with the results. If he did not have the securities in place then a whole mess of shit would end up there and the surfers would not return.

Okay, thanks for anwering. Then I just have badluck... :-) Hopefully I will be listed soon again...Won't screw up anymore:-)
