What's The Name of This 80's Show! Aaarrggh!!
 

The storyline is that an alien came to Earth and got with this lady and had a daughter. He had to leave and go back to his planet before his daughter was born. Now, she communicates with him via this crystal cube that lights up. Whenever they talked, the lights would go off and stuff. The theme song to the show was, "Would you like to swing on a star....carry moon beams home in a jar...and be better off than you are....or would you rather go to Earth?" Thanks! This has been bugging me for a while now!

I think it was called "Out of this world" or someshit... I remember seeing it one time at least.

Evie Garland (Maureen Flannigan) lived with her mother (Donna Rescow) in this American comedy. Her dad, though, lived in outer space and communicated with them through a crystal cube.
Evie was half-alien. She could freeze time for other earthlings by joining two fingers whilst she manoevred herself or objects to alter the course of events on earth.

The show, which ran in the US 6th September 1987 until 1991, was first broadcast in the UK on 25th March 1991 and was generally transmitted on mornings during school holidays. 'Swinging From a Star' was used as the theme song.

Dang! Well, my next question would be do you know where I can buy episodes? I just went over to Amazon.com and Ebay and nothing. Don't ask me why I want to get the episodes b/c I don't know!

For the record I just copied and pasted that from a quick search I ran. Im not crazy enough to have that all in my head (although I do remember the show).
