When do you want to retire?
 

Read a special in Financial Post biz section bout retiring and thought I wanna stop working at bout 40.

But then again I think, what the fuck would I do on my lazy ass all day?

Never! Tried it once and got bored silly playing golf, shopping and just relaxing all the time.

I am the same. I am all about retiring at 40. It's not a goal- it's going to happen.

I planned retiring around 52 to 55, depending on the finances. Then Eva walked into my London studio and said "Give us a job".

Now work harder than I ever worked before. Also we plan on having another child so will not retire for a while. so no fretting I will stick around. :1orglaugh

hmm. good question. i guess never. might minimize the amount of work i do but prolly never. always gotta scheme somethin new ya know ;]

Bleh, I was just looking at my 401k crap the other night while I was sorting tax crap. I'm sure I'll work till SS kicks in. Being retired young would be good, provided you had something to keep you busy or that you were passionate about.
