Why would you join an Affiliate program and not the other?
 

Hey guys,
I am new to here (hell even this Board says "welcome the newest member Jibi").

Some people said GFY.com is full of nasty people and I figure I should give it a try. lol Anyway, I've been reading for a bit before I've decided to join this board.

My newbie question...why would you want to make a thumbnail post site for joining affiliate programs to earn money and not making one yourself? I know it's a preference but what are the pros and cons? I am thinking about joining an affiliate program but I kinda want to know more about it. Maybe it's easier to start a program yourself (or not?!)?

Any advice is appreciated. :) I saw somebody earning like $3,000 /month from the affiliate programs and I thought that was NICE! (well, at least to me)
