Do law enforcement officers cry when they aren't on T.V.?

Do law enforcement officers cry when they aren't on T.V.?

I wonder as I watch these guys struggle to soak up their 15 minutes of fame at this little girl's expense.

Yes.

And thank you for your shallow comment.

My brother in law is in the police and he says when they attend child rapes it's the worst. First anger and hatred towards the perpetrator/s and then the tears

TweetyBird 02-06-2004 05:26 AM

indeed, it must hard to look at ..

It's not a shallow comment you twat.

The vast majority of people lack the emotional capacity to feel any sort of empathy for the victims of these violent crimes or their families.

But, what is more telling is the fact that there are quite a few victims of violent crimes that will never have a tear shed for them.

It's a complicated question placed in a simple manner. If you don't understand that, then fuck off.

Perhaps the vast majority of people you hang out with lack that capacity. I happen to know what it's like.

And what does the fact that some victims won't have anyone shed a tear for them have to do with any thing? That was a pointless comment.

It wasn't a complicated question you asked. It was shallow, stupid and completely insensitive.

And if you can't see that then you truly are shallow and stupid. So step away from the computer and have a nice hot cup of shut the fuck up.

Empathy...most people lack it, so I'm interested and that's why I'm asking.

Anybody can cry in front of a camera, and these sorts of things are made into a sick sort of media frenzy.

When the cameras are on the tears flow, and it becomes coffee talk for the nation in the morning with donuts for that day.

Then folks forget about it.

There are plenty of people out there struggling to get in front of the cameras to give their two cents about that tragedy from law enforcement to media etc...

Media distorts the process and folks behavior.

If you lack objectivity in regard to this question that's fine, sit on the sideline.

Aren't you late for school?

I think if I found a dead raped child I would be bawling my eyes out for quite a while. Cops may be more used to some things than the average person but I don't see how anyone could ever become desensitized to that. If it's no big deal to you, GFY...
