screenshot from movies??? help
 

anyone know how the hell you can take screenshots from your movies? printscreen button dont work for me.... just blacks out the movie frame...

Thumbsplus is working great for me

You could also use hypersnap or i am sure there are also some free tools available

here is a simple manipulation to avoid the black screen:

Follow me:

Right-click on your desktop, select "Properties"
Go to the last tab Settings.
Click on the Advanced-button.
Click on the tab "Solving Problems" (or something similar).
Put "Hardware Acceleration" to none.
Click OK. Ok....

you're done.

Use InterVideo WinDVD4 as this takes great screen grabs.

I use Thumbsplus!! :thumbsup

to get a series of thumbs from an mpeg or avi, use virtua dub, set video to full processing mode, det framrate manipulator to only use very 300 th frame ..

then export frames... will export every threhundretdth frame. irfanview can make them into a preview contact shtte, just like ususal pics...

I know this is more advanced than what you asked for... lol

youy can also use fraps 1.9d freeware ans set a 5 second interval for auto screenshots....

I use CaptureEze Pro and it works great!

Get VirtualDub..it's free and makes screenshots of the movie screen only and not the whole screen..
Saves you a little cutting in photoshop :thumbsup
