doctor fired after visiting porn sites
Authorities have revealed that a doctor in Karratha, mid-western Western Australia, made 4,000 hits to pornographic websites in less than three weeks.
The locum, who has had his contract terminated, is the seventh person to leave the WA Health Service for inappropriate computer use in the past year.
The Australian Medical Association says the Health Department needs to adopt a more preventative approach to the problem to keep doctors in the workforce.
