Salmon steaks... how do YOU cook em?
Alright, last time it was burgers and those fuckers came out great... this time salmon.
Some of you bastards really know how to throw down in the kitchen and/or grill... help me out here! |
|
A lot of butter...real quick on high fire on both sides and after that in the oven.
Dont mess around with it too much... And dont overcook it! |

On the grill. wrap them in foil, very loose and put a ton of fresh lemon juice on them. Cover them and put them on the grill on low for about 10 minutes each side.
Then.. take off the foil and put the right on the grill for about 3 mintues each side to seal in the lemon. Incredibe and really easy.. just dont over cook them by leaving them to long. |
Been some months since I had grilled salmon, thanks for reminding me about it :)
Best grilled fish, without a doubt :thumbsup |
Thow them in microwave for like 22 minutes on high

Depending on the slice size, get some tin foil and make a little bag outta it, dull side of the tin foil on the outside.
Just fold the corners to make a bag. Drop the salmon in with some butter over the top or if you prefer olive oil. You can always sprinkle some garlic over it too. about 12 mins on the BBQ and turn it over half way thro.. Same applies to a good rainbow trout and the skin will just stick to the tin foil allowing you to get right to that fish....;) |
