tm3 Toplist Help
 

I have already emailed and ICQ'd tm3 guys still waiting on responce. Can some one give me some pointers to what I have wrong with my tm3 toplist. I use the Direct Cgi-method and tm3 includes my toplist but there blank not generating them correctly but they are being included. I have my templates like this.


$$$top:title:1$$$
and linking to /cgi-bin/tm3/l?i=$$$toplistname:id:1$$$

I'm running the latest version of tm3 TM3-031125 any ideas.

Did you add your toplist template to be updated under the toplist link
in the upper right corner? If so check the output in the same
dir as the toplist template, i.e.
/path-to-tm3/tt/idx/toplist20.htm
How often does it update? Has that time elapsed yet?

If the htm file is being generated, make sure your include
line is like
<TM3 include=/path-to-tm3/tt/idx/toplist20.htm>

Put your code like this:
<xmp><a href="/cgi-bin/tm3/l?i=$$$top:id:1$$$">$$$top:title:1$$$</a></xmp>

Yes the toplist have been added and there creating the toplist but there blank. For some reason it's not generating the sites in the toplist but it's including the blank toplist to the site. If I go under toplist in the far right I have two options. Create a toplist under existing toplist, and under that table I have FILES TO BE UPDATED and I added all my toplist in there. And even if I add all the toplist to the top option where it says existing toplist it still does the same thing. If I have to add the toplist to the existing toplist do I add the toplist as toplist.tpl or toplist.html? I had no problems with the toplist when they was on the old version of tm3 but this new install is a little diff on toplist. Hopefully the tm3 guys will contact me soon.

Make sure your toplist is called exactly called top or rewrite the source to whatever you named the list
That will fix it

I can't wait to get TM3 off my server. It's not bad working sw, but managing the links is pure hell. Christ, I need to go through like a half dozen different steps and pages just to add a new linkpartner. Absolutely unacceptable.
