Dell is really pissing me off...
I just bought and configured an brand new 5150 with everything - 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD, Wireless, DVD+RW - I even bought the Sony noice cancelling head phones. I had it less than 3 weeks and the FUCKIN' mother board went out. Called Dell and they said it would only be out for rerpairs 3-5 days. A box from Dell showed up the next day and off it went. It's been gone almost @ WEEKs and every time I call they say they haven't even taken it out of the box yet. How do they expect people to make a living? I've been a Dell supporter fo ryears but this is crap! I evewn bitched out 2 managers yesterday and got no where!

I had the same problem- motherboard , processor and power supply went out after 2 weeks...go to their site and check out their customer forum- you'll find thousands of people in the same position
After weeks of being on hold so I could talk to the non english speaking techs who then transferred and I held again, blah blah blah my new slogan is "Dude, DON'T get a Dell !! I just got off the phone with them again and supposedly my "status" has changed to "building" from "are you fucking kidding - your piece of shit is still in the box outside on the fucking truck floor". They said it should ship out on Friday. I forgot to ask which friday!:feels-hot

I guess this is how they force you to upgrade your warranty to In-Home. Would have been worth the extra $67/yr.

That's Dell ... slow as fuck.
My aunt has 2 children with the chief of customer relations at Dell Sweden and she still orders shit from Compaq ... they're just no good for small orders. If you wanna buy a few thousand computers they're the ones to go to tho. |
First thing you shouldve done was tell em your sending the fucked up one back and you want a new one. they wouldve done it.
i had the same problem and a few others issues with dell. DELL has the worst customer service. you gotta get someone from america to deal with your problem because they outsource their customer service to countries like india and they cant authorize shit. a customer of mine who insisted on using dell is still waiting on a printer since december. fuck dell. |

i bought a 19 inch lcd for an affiliate December 5th - it was suppose to arrive Dec 13th. Didn't get here til January 20th.

wow, I have never had that problem before... I had my monitor replaced on my laptop. I called them, they had a box for me in 2 hours... My laptop was back in 3 days, they even upgraded my motherboard free of cost. I never had a problem with Dell.
