Got just about the same laptop myself, great laptop.

No problems the 7 months I've had it.

Dont get me wrong though.. i have the exact same laptop but a bit more pimped out....

but the warrenty optin you got sucks if there is an issue but again i have had my 8500 for about 6-7 months now and its been great!
