Acacias Stock Price
 

Has anyone followed stocks lately? The Nasdaq was killed today and didnt do great yesterday but Acacia climbed over 11 percent just today and was up yesterday as well. I know they have another tracking stock for the research side of Acacia that has been getting some good news but it had been down in the previous days while actg kept going up.

I cant figure out why its doing as good as it is.

I would assume that Acacia is making money and getting people to sign of to there agreement daily so the stock would go up at that point.

Ive been watching it every day. Its been climbing steadily. I didnt want to beat a dead horse so I refrained from posting about it here but they seem to be doing well on the surface. I was hoping it would crash a long time ago when it was trading below 6. Now its over 7.30.

Is it not easy to inflate the value of a stock if you have the money? Just make bids for cents higher each order.. ?

And it did that on good volume. Could be someone got killed in another area and had to cover some shorts, people looking to gamble on the outcome of the Markman hearing, or people getting word of a big deal coming. When anything moves on high than normal volume, in excess of 10%, and with no news, watch it.

Tomorrow's trading will confirm if it was a fluke or not.
