I'm in adult because I was finally tired of the corporate world and when I got downsized out of my last corp job and while looking for a new job I was quick to learn that I was too overqualified at a young age so no one wanted me for the most part. And when I offered to work cheaper they didn't believe it and wouldn't even give me a chance.

So over time while searching for jobs I took the computer skills I had and started reading a messageboard and asking some questions. Started teaching myself some software and basic skills and started making sites and what not. Eventually I quit searching for a job and just went fulltime.

I was retired from mainstream, taking three years off to recover...and my ex partner told me porn would make me rich.

I started because I thought it would be fun.. I continue to do it because I enjoy the different types of work and learning involved.

I'm in adult because the child biz was over saturated.

I was single, had kids and no car and no way to get out to get a job. There wasn't even a place to work within walking distance and the nearest daycare was like 10+ miles away. Taxi fare to daycare/work and back every day plus daycare would have cost as much as or more than I could make. My dad had given me a computer and I'd played around with making a personal homepage, but I had no idea I could make money with it. I clicked a CyberErotica banner one day, saw the webmaster link, and the rest is history for me. :)

I finally realized i was an adult after I started using cuss words in front of other adults without them looking at me crazy.


But seriously you should always have a plan to fall back on. If this porn thing don't work its gonna be hard to get back into the job market without any of the current skills.

I got into adult because I was an oversexed punk who liked making scenes. Eventually it became apparent that $$$$ was involved as well. Then I met Digipimp and the rest is history...

Well unless of course your skills are transferable. If you're just submitting all day long that's different that's pretty niche.

But as for designers, tech, sales etc - we are all VERY transferabe to any market.

I was 18 years old and one of my friends got a job with xpics. He was moved to tahoe and I went out and visited and he showed me some shit and it was history from there.

I think I was the only male talent to get into the porn biz just for the money. I just wanted to pay off my debts & go back to acting & modeling but it was adicting cause it was so easy. Then I got real interested in marketing & production, so I picked up a camera & started shooting sex. Mine was free so I started there. I actually had a bunch of people come to me back in 97-99 to do an amateur POV web site but I didn't trust them cuz they only wanted to give me 25% of the profit. Funny how things work out.

When ICANn introduced new domain extensions 3 yers ago, i wanted to pre-register great names, like hairloss.info, music.info, casino.info, impotence.info etc, mainly to resell them. But I failed in that attepmt dues to scammers. I only got 2 adult "dot info" domains, but unfortunately noone wanted to buy them, so I decideed to develop a site. And now I am here.

I have a very expensive photography hobby, and this is the easiest way to make a business and get deductions.

We did it for free for the first year, thought we could bring something interesting to a niche that was light on quality at the time. We split up the duties I will learn photoshop and photography, you learn building sites. It was fun, if you had told me back then this is how you would earn your living I would of laughed .lol

I hated to work for lousy managers with fat asses and their know-it-all attitude. I allways feelt suppressed by them and definitly never fully streched by the work I had to do. And why should I watch them while looking for porn stuff in the net and sucking there dicks when nobody´s around them , when I can be the one who gets money for their sexfantasies ?
