deluxepass site

Anybody start a deluxepass site? Is it relatively straightforward? In terms of traffic, were you getting some from the network and how'd you promote it?

Roger 02-04-2004 01:20 AM

Don't know I just put my site up for validation. Actually it seems that you can't promote anything at all on your site.

mech 02-04-2004 01:34 AM

It's exactly straightforward. You create a site and then promote it like you would any other paysite. You do get a lot of traffic from their network but it mostly goes straight into your members area so don't expect to make much money from it. You definitely need to promote it yourself.

Roger 02-04-2004 08:41 AM

It's quite stupid that they don't allow any ads whatsoever though.

Can you use their free content in galleries to promote your sites?

Yes.

galleryseek 02-04-2004 11:48 AM

i have a deluxepass site:

http://cumblasted.deluxepass.com

and it converted really well with the initial traffic they sent me... i just need to start promoting it myself now. :)

I really wish DeluxePass offered a trial. With the massive members area, it's unlikely many would cancel within the trial period. And it would certainly help conversions. Of course, maybe their conversations are already awesome with only a monthly option. Will have to test it out I guess...

Yep, even if it was only a one or two hour trial. Would need to be short for video avs like dp to prevent them from just downloading like fuck for 3 days. Have often wondered why all premium avs's didnt offer short free trials. The whole object of premium avs has always been to get em in the door, recurring is where the moneys made. And a free trial is really needed today because you arent allowed to mention all the other sites anymore, so get em in and show them. Hell, i would gladly accept a slightly lower payout to be able to promote a free trial like that. Much easier to sell than a 20 or 30 dollar initial join.
I think i remember one premium avs did have a trial (OV?) but dunno if they still do with all the visa paranoia and shaking up going on.

axelcat 02-04-2004 01:12 PM

Cant we all just get along

yeah have the trial only to the site that the sufer signed up for and then if the surfers wants to have access to all the other sites, he has to upgrade to the monthly

there is no such thing as free content from DeluxePass, pretty much all bullshit. i'm sure they think they've covered their asses legally. more i think about it it's pretty much the same concept as hosted galleries.

it really does suck, so many webmasters in there can afford to buy content but they are nothing but leeches.

there's a reason Redlight District has taken their content off the market. and ZeroTolerance will eventually follow when they get to Redlight's level.

That's a really good idea. A bonus for the surfer AND the webmaster who signed them:)

teomaxxx 02-04-2004 03:32 PM

whats yours retention on deluxpass? i made with them, as affilate webmaster one of their sites, around 8SU and with rebills i got around 14usd per one member, which is very, very low...

Number1Thumb 02-04-2004 03:35 PM

DP rocks and retention is by far better than any 1 paysite any program offers. Period:glugglug Im talking retention as in they want to be a member not "forgetting" retention

Blastsex 02-04-2004 05:18 PM

I still have 50% of signups made in June to one Deluxepass site recurring as of today :)
That's retention!

Pornwolf 02-04-2004 05:27 PM

All reports from webmasters I have spoken with seems to show they have close to 80% retention which is incredible.

Roger 02-04-2004 05:39 PM

The real question is. How much time does it take them to activate one site? Been waiting for a couple of days.

thekebie 02-04-2004 05:40 PM

Building a site with them is kind of slow, same with adultbouncer, except with deluxe you have to do more stuff like download all the movies, take your own screen shots and such, however you get $15 a signup instead of AB's $11.

Pornwolf 02-04-2004 05:41 PM

Contact Clement at DP. He's a pretty cool guy. I'm not at my computer so I can't give you his ICQ offhand but you can find him on the DP webmaster's board at thinkreel.com

Fletch XXX 02-04-2004 05:43 PM

isnt delux pass just a havenf for illegal content?

i see sooo many movie archives on delux pass, and i really wonder about the content.

Fletch XXX 02-04-2004 05:44 PM

or is it adult bouncer?

No, most of the movie content is offered by deluxe pass to the webmasters and is legal.

New webmasters get about 3 free movies and then you get credits for each signup so you can get even more movies for your site.

Did you have to pay for creating that site? Or did they provide you with all the necessary content?

hentaivip 02-04-2004 06:35 PM

Yeah ...
Deluxepass great :)
Try to promote my site
Hentaivip.com

Try my sig ( Deluxepass Site )

$tandaman 02-04-2004 06:36 PM

fletch, they license the content from many large providers as far as i know, and so yes, the answer is they are giving away free legal content to their webmasters, like many programs out there do today...however it's better content.
