Got the MyDoom Virus
 

Hello everybody,

Let me appologize for not getting back to certain people either via email or ICQ.

I got that MyDoom Virus and it royally messed my computer yesterday.

Feel free to contact me again if you don't get a reply, as it may have deleted some of the emails.

Anybody who has gotten the virus I'm sure feels my pain.

You have my complete sympathy. While my virus scanner is hanging tough, I'm getting multitudes of them in my email daily.

And, having lived through NIMDA, I feel your pain. That one ran through three of our servers before we could disconnect.

Dont open attachments and you wont get it.

yeah but its still sending people a shitload of emails.

i know my mail has been total shit the last few days, getting tons of email from webmasters and its making it hard to go through real emails.


total pain in the ass, even if you dont have it, the damn thing is still sending out fuckoloads of bogus emails.

I'm surprised people still open attachments. The MyDoom virus has been all over the news, and tells you what NOT to do.

it seems to have fucked up my OutlookExpress, i have mail building up and it's not downloading them. I also have web-based email thing and that works fine.

getting emails from what I guess are adult webmasters who either have the virus or are in the address book of somebody who does. some are people i recogize from GFY and have never done any emails with or ever said a word to.

i really think computer vandalism through viruses should be made a crime just short of premedidated murder. 20 years in prison minimum, and I don't care if it's some attention seeking 14 year old fat friendless geek whose parents don't give enough attention. The damage from a virus is so fucking huge it's hard to comprehend how many people get their lives and businesses fucked up. Maybe once these idiots see people spending their lives in jail they'll think twice about it.
