Am I allowed to change a gallery after it has been approved by the hun?

I just had a gallery approved by the hun (yey).

I want to drop a certain recip link that I have on it because it points to a friend's TGP which I now dislike.

Can I do it, or is that disallowed once the page has been approved?

gornyhuy 02-03-2004 08:25 AM

its dissallowed... you could email him, but I wouldnt risk it if I were you.

rigrunner 02-03-2004 08:26 AM

Its probably best you dont change it but i imagine you would be able to drop a link without a problem.

Its changing the content that causes the probs as im sure youve probably already guessed.

I would drop an email just incase but i think it would be fine.

Viper2K1 02-03-2004 08:27 AM

don't go emailing the guy just to change a recip link
just leave it there
if you had your sponsor links fucked up or something, that's something different

skillfull 02-03-2004 08:30 AM

anyway
thehun usually dont accept galleries with any others recips than is own :P

adultpixel 02-03-2004 08:32 AM

don't change anything after submitting a gallery.

washiez 02-03-2004 08:35 AM

You can get rid of the other recip link. Just dont remove his or change anything regarding the gallery itself. The Hun isn't that anal.

Huh ??? I always put my recip and the huns . Get accepted most of the time...

korzon ,
Do NOT change the gallery . WTF , it's not very important that you send a few hits to someone you dont like .

not true

jasmine 02-03-2004 08:37 AM

I would definitely not change it. Its hard enough to get listed on his site then to go and change something. Even if its as simple as a recip. He may not like that. :2 cents:

just don't do it. Business is business, don't let it interfere with personal issues

Fixing a gallery is no problem of course, though I understand why people are very paranoid when it comes to changing anything on a gallery... A few guidelines:

fixing a link is never a problem
removing a banner/reciprocal is never a problem
changing an affiliate code is not a problem

but the following things can bring a lot of trouble... well... get the gallery removed at least:

- changing a sponsor
- putting a page up 'we have server problems, blabla, here's some ads'... if you have server problems, delete the page, let it go to a clean 404, and my bot will kill the link in minutes
- adding banners
- resizing banners
- removing content
- changing font sizes

Stuff like that, I think you guys get my drift... We're not completely uptight here, removing a reciprocal is never a problem (unless it's mine of course ;-)

Thanks Mr. Hun.
Seems like you don't only take care of your visitors but your posters as well.

No wonder you get 1,834,457 visitors a day :thumbsup

They are paranoid because of the 10,000 TGP's that automatically boot you for any edits to your gallery. That combined with the anal TGP owners that blacklist people for the most ignorant stuff like taking out a recip.

Thanks Hun!
